spouse or sign. other diffs

I was wondering how many people on this board are complete opposite of their spouses or sign. other. for instance, I am a nonsmoker, personable, outdoorsy, and in some kind of shape, my wife isnt.....any of these, o.k. she is a outdoors person. maybe your the slob, just wondering if most of you are carbon copies of each other or I just know how to pickem.(btw this is the worst marriage known to man)

ill have to agree with 1rep here..she takes care of me mostly though, almost like im a patient at an assisted living facility

Pretty much the same with me and my girl. She's the only person I've ever encountered that catches on when I'm bs'ing.

We've got a lot of differences. Music is total oppostie of each others, I listen to mostly metal, she's into a lot of 80s music :ugh:

I'm a lot calmer, especially with her daughter when she needs to be "talked to" about problems. She has a tendency to go off and say things that she shouldn't, to which I usually cut her off and give her a dirty look to get her to shut up. I know all the shit you just don't say to your kids, because I heard it all and then some from my mother growing up.

I've been the stricter of the two of us when it comes to the kids. It took us a few years to get onto the same level with parenting, yet she's still not as strict as I am. Don't take that the wrong way, I'm definetly fair with the kids, but when it comes to the rules of the house, I'll smack it down on the kids before she will. As a result, the kids don't try to walk all over me, but they do try to do so with her.

I'm a slob, she's a neat freak.

Taste in movies is opposite of each other, but that's to be expected.

I'm more sexually aggressive and adventerous. She's somewhat sexually repressed and it's been hard to crack her.

I'm sure there's more, but that's all I can think of right now.
