My twins turned 18 on September 10, 2001. We sat around the birthday dinner table and I remember commenting how glad I was that my sons were turning 18 years old in a peaceful world. The next morning, they got into their cars to head off to high school. Immediately hearing the news on their car radios, they ran back into the house--MOM! DAD! Turn on the TV! An airplane just flew into the World Trade Center!

I bet each of us will always remember where we were when we heard the news.
