I usually try to contain it to a point. Protien induced farts, however, can't be held back.

My girlfriend used to hide it around me and blame it on the pets. Our son was in diapers and I'd smell the most horrid shit smell occasionally when we'd all be in the same room. I'd go to change him but he'd be clean. It took me a while to put 2 + 2 together.
