#1 Have someone work with you extensively to learn how to use it. Then practice, practice, practice.

#2 Get a lawyer. In the US, only half the fight is using your weapon on the individual. The other half is fought in the courts. It was a lot easier in the jungles. We didn't need #2

I'm pretty sure I know who "he" is and I'm shocked and disgusted. If you don't want Jesus in your life that's too bad because he loves you and he isn't going anywhere. You can turn your back on him or even file a restraining order against him but that won't stop him from loving you.

You've tried reasoning, and that has failed. I say tell hubby about it (remember, you're married now...you OWE IT TO YOUR HUSBAND TO TELL HIM WHAT'S GOING ON) Then the two of you sit down together and work out a solution that works for BOTH of you.

I work for a lawyer and you may not have enough "threatening" activity from him at this point to get a restraining order.

definately talk it over with hubby... if he contacts you in any way tell him you are DONE with him and not interested in whatever he has to say. Even tell him you consider him to be stalking you and will report all further contact to the police... that will help establish a written "history" of his contact, which report will be a valuable tool for you when you do seek a restraining order.

Check into your state's stalking laws... or keep calling law offices till you find an attorney who will give you a few mins of his time for free on the phone to help you out with whether yer state has stalking laws, and what steps you should take to make sure that this man is considered under those laws.

Document everything. Keep a log book. That way you have something other than your word against the other person's for a restraining order or court. Good Luck.

fine I guess I should be serious too. If you had made it clear that you do not want him around..well do it one more time, if you see him again or hear from him again for no other reason than to interfere(sp) with your life GET THE ORDER!! and also get some way to protect yourself. Do not keep changing your lifestyle or anything about your life for this freak, but dont forget him either.
