when is a restraining order needed

I am having some issues with a person from the past that needs to just let go.

They have come to my work recently to discuss my life now.
They have emailed me giving me a "i have no hard feeling "speech
They knew I was getting married but yet I do not speak with this person nor do we have many mutual friends none of which knew i was getting married
They call me .......to the point I have had to change my number

I just wan't to be left alone.I dont fear for my life but I am starting to feel stalked.

It took me along time to write those notes on your mirror with the lipstick...and I thought I mentioned not to tell anyone....now your gonna get it.

oh ..and that 70s show is on so could you change the channel and please open the curtains a little more

Is it "he" or "they?" If it was "he," then I heard from him the other day. I think he is driving a truck now and uses a laptop with some cellular connection while on the road. If you see him hanging around, I would say that would constitute a legitimate reason for a judge to issue a restraining order.

See thats the thing,when he wen't to work to discuss my life,He was wrong on my wedding date but had assumed it was one I had talked about prior.which would mean that it wasnt off of the board

Im with Twist... "He" has to let go.. explaine his options, Hubby or restraining order... Im guessing hubby having a little chat would help...

So you are saying that he is able to get info from the board? Keep in mind I haven't talked to him until after the wedding and it was just him popping in to say hi and tell me what his new job was.

2) get a gun and tell him if he comes within 1000 yards of your house you'll pistol whip his ass
