There were no bruises. I was cool till I got home that night then I couldn't really move my legs at all. I had a really hard time sitting down or standing up. They x-rayed my knees at the ER, but I think I stretched my MCL or something in both knees.

No, there never appeared to be any swelling. The pain is on the inside of each knee.

Since there's no swelling maybe a little heat would help relieve some of the discomfort. Maybe try laying on your side tonight with a heating pad between your knees for a while. A little Tiger Balm might be helpful too.

Last night was the first time I could lay on my side since it happened. It was like something in my knee wasn't able to support weight from that angle. It is very strange. I have never had an injury like this before.
