i've used meditation a few times.................i don't use it enough, its really relaxing and i've been able to aleviate physical pain w/ it. Including lowerback pains i used to have frequently a few years back.

When I started doing it my main goal was to lessen pain but now I just keep doing it because I'm more relaxed and feel better overall.

I employed it also years ago when learning new martial arts and weapons systems. It has quite a few applications.....

I zone out does that count??? I can even see and hear things at times, it's probably ol' flashback things from college but it's pretty cool.
