As a Zepp fan what would be the song you like the most from them? Or give say five since they have so many masterpieces. Lately I´ve fallen in love w " babe I´m gonna leave you " . A STRONG and touching blues from their early years.
Other four could be ; Achilles last Stand , Stairway( live version) , No Quarter(live ) , In the Evening and Rock ´n roll ( live version).

Ok, I'm glad you gave me five because it's terribly hard to pick just one favorite song. Lately I can't get enough of Heartbreaker. The guitar solo in that one just amazes me. My first favorite song was Over the hills and far away. My other three favorites are nobody's fault but mine, stairway to heaven(live version from the garden) and dazed and confused. (live and studio versions are both very good.) The blues stuff is really good and the acoustic guitar part on babe i'm gonna leave you is one of my favorites too.

Did yo catch the itching sound coming from Bonzo´s bass pedal in Babe I´m Gonna Leave you ? If not , listen carefully. That sound can be heard in other songs too on that album...... During the lighter part of th esong it´s easy to hear. Something like ( bassdrum) TUM TUM , (pedal ) ink ink . TUM TUM... do you think you could hear that from today´s recordings? A small detail but anything about Bonzo is holy (houses of the..) to me.

I bought the complete studio recordings a while ago. One of the best music purchases I've ever made. If for some strange reason I hear a song I'm not that familiar with I just check which cd it's on and go listen to it a few times.
