Nightmares...

I get some pretty bad nightmares from time to time but I've had them every night for the past week and last night's was the worst. I couldn't fall back to sleep at all for over an hour after I woke from the nightmare and even when I did sleep, it was really light and the nightmare kept coming back and waking me. To top it off it's been haunting me all day. I don't like this.

I hear you. Happened to me many times. I often wonder why evil always chooses me to fight against? Time after time. Sending karma for you to sooth your head.....

I know all about nightmares. You go for a while without any, then they come back to you.....at least the living nightmares have been over for 15 years, still the ghosts come back from time to time....

Hmmm...vivid nightmares every night for a whole week is very unusual. Taking any new meds??? Snacking on heavy/spicy foods at night recently???

I'm with CHM on this. What is the root of this? Unusual stress or activities on top of what CHM mentioned? Is there something coming up soon that you are dreading?

yes they suck,i havent had them for a while,the only time i did was when i was detoxing from OC's and it was unpleasant,
i remember it like it was yesterday
and no it was not yesterday

Had another bad one last night.

No new meds and food shouldn't be an issue although I did eat some different foods a few times on vacation. But I'm back eating my normal diet so I doubt the food is an issue.

They started when I was on vacation in the Keys and there is a stressor that goes along with me leaving my family. Stromba will be gone quite a bit in the upcoming weeks as well. This is likely the root of the nightmares. He had a couple of similarly themed dreams in the last week as well. The subconscious is amazing, huh?

I'll take a sleeping pill tonight. They often give me vivid dreams but not nightmares so maybe it'll break this cycle.
