What is your favorite breed of dog...

She looks like a Collie, but has a charcoal grey mask acrossed her face from teh australian sheperd in her. Plus some black in her coat.

Great Danes for me..they are so huge and beautiful. I am hoping to adopt one when I get back stateside.....This Beagle is killing me! Crazy dog.

My friend has a schnauzer and she treats her like she is a baby! Dresses her and even pushes her in a stroller when we go places as she rarely leaves her at home!

My friend has one and I love him. However, they are needy and they have no idea how large they are. They have the mentality and personality of a 3 y.o. child which is fantastic. First she had a female (she passed away just over a year old), then a male (the sibling of the female). She just had the male neutered at the age of about 4 and thank goodness, he's lost his affinity for crotch and butt sniffing (this was how he greeted anyone, and left pleanty of snot/drool to show for it). He still likes to sit on my lap though, I'll be on the sofa and he'll back his butt up and sit on my lap lavishing all the attention I'm willing to give. He's the sweetest thing but not too bright and a picky eater...they have trouble keeping his weight up. It's the cutest thing when he watches tv though...especially when there are other dogs on the screen. He watches and turns his head as if he's really pondering what he sees. He is attached to my friend (his mommy) like I've never seen a dog attach to an owner before. When she goes away he truly gets depressed, even when the husband (who takes great care of the dog) is home. They also have another dog, a mut, and that doesn't seem to help the missing mommy complex. LOL

He thinks he is a 150 pound dog though When he is playing he will throw himself at my leg or foot and push.As if he can move me with his bodyweight

We always used to keep labradors because we hunted birds alot. When I'm ready to have another dog, I would like to have another lab.

Onetime when I was going bowfishing in Louisiana, the people had a Jack Russel Terrier. You could pick up a rock (the whole driveway was rocks) and throw it. That dog would bring you the exact same rock that you threw. It was pretty neat. It was a smart dog. I think it would be cool to have one of those, too.
