My friend just called tonight...she's following your footsteps, Voo. Just found out her half brother died on her birthday and she never even met him. Long story short, CRACK. Nuff said.

We talked for a long while tonight. She has other half siblings but only one that she really knows and was with us this past weekend, the dead brother's sister. It sucks that so many milestones can be flagged with sorrows (our wedding anniversary is also the same date that hubby's grandfather passed) but we have to keep looking forward to the future...to the good in the world.
