Anybody else notice that the government seems to be using the victims of 9/11 in order to drum up support the Iraq war? I mean, it's been going on for 5 years now but it seems to have reached a crescendo today on the anniversary. The President's speech, according the excerpts released, seems to be more about telling American's that his war isn't failing than it is about remembering the dead.

These people should be ashamed of themselves. Stop pimping dead people for your political causes.

Haven´t heard / seen the speech yet , just seen a few clips on news here. From what I saw ......empty political shiat trying to prove something right that ain´t gonna ever do so. What makes me angry here is that this big eared buy is playing w the victims of 911 and Iraq war. Even worse political play. if he promised not to use that speech for political reasons why did he use that much time for the Iraq war? I see nothing connecting Iraq and 911. other than a game started over 5 yrs ago. I would not blame people Satan. the only (and big) mistake they ever did was elect this clown TWICE .

I was fortunate enough to not lose anyone on Sept 11th. I got up, lowered the flag to half mast, and went about my day. Not much else to be done.
