who is the president you like the most in US and A?

As an outsider ( and since most people here have trouble naming our presidents ) I ask simply ; of all the presidents in your country who do you respect the most? A few words why too please . Some positive talk for a change hopefully

Clinton and Kennedy are both lying, cheating man whores. They had no problem betraying their wives and had no problem selling out the rest of us. The biggest reason Kennedy is idolized here is because he was assasinated in office.

Nixon could have been a good president if he had kept his hands clean. He did put an end to the Vietnam War.


Johnson is the reason we lost so many people in Vietnam.

Carter was bad for the US. Inflation was so high under him. He couldn't negotiate the release of the American hostages in Iran. He is in the top 5 list of worst presidents ever.

Ford I could take or leave. I do believe that he was not elected because of the whole watergate deal.

Bush 1 I liked.

Bush 2 I do like. He does what he says he is going to do. He doesn't beat around the bush. There are some things he could have done differantly but as a whole I really like him. He has had more on his plate than most presidents in our era. He has had to clean up Clinton's mess including the World Trade Center attack. If Clinton had been doing his job instead of getting a job 9/11 would have never happened.

Of those you listed Reagan is by far my favorite. He led by example. He also said what he meant. He was of great moral character. He loved his wife, family, this country and GOD. He put an end to the cold war. Times were easier under him. Reagan played a vital role in the Berlin Wall coming down. American power and prosperity were restored under him. There are just so many things about him I like. I could go on and on but you get the picture.

In Europe presidents Clinton and Reagan are considered as most liked . Clinton had this unbelieveble charisma. Reagan was perhaps not a real political person, rather representing the straight backboned US hero ( like those he acted on films).
That claim GWB had to clean things from Clinton time is also interesting . From what I have learned / read / heard / seen GWB and his administration pretty much did their own act . and that includes 911 . I´m sorry , but I have to disagree w you on that topic. But thanks for your thoughts . Always good to hear different opinions . That´s why I made this thread. :bigsmile

I can say this much, as far as my thoughts on the issues, I have a conservative standpoint. I dont vote straight party, and I absolutely despise the Clintons. This is an interesting read
