Has anyone noticed the irony in their names?

Mr Fantastic: He has the hots for Jessica Alba, but his name is pretty ***. The only way they could have ***ed his name up more would be calling him Mr Fabulous.

The Invisible Woman: Jessica Alba, hot as always, and what is her special power? She becomes invisible but has to be naked to be invisible.....and no one can see her! Damn the irony!

The Human Torch: Johnny Torch is the guy. His last name is Torch, he flames, and he isn't even into dudes.

The Thing: Here's the thing about Thing. He is a walking collection of rocks or something. He's a hetero dude who's wife wont have anything to do with him anymore because she sees him as a monster. Women are repulsed by him, and he is always ALWAYS hard...literally. I really feel sorry for the guy. He can't get his rocks off even if he tried.

Okay, there was my off the wall, random thought of the day.

Sorry, but as comic nerd, I can't handle inaccuracies.

Sue Storm aka Invisible Woman, does not necessarily have to be naked to turn invisible. Her suit is specially designed to absorb her power and turn invisible as well.

Oh, I was basing that on the first movie before she got the suit. Anyway, she's hot and still turns invisible so no one can appreciate her hotness.

When you say you are a comic nerd, do you collect? I actually have some museum editions of later comics like Aria.

No rare collectibles, just an avid fan of the mythologies. My favorite comics back in the day weren't the basic storyline comics, but the encyclopedia types which gave detailed background info on all heroes and villains. The story mags are entertaining but you would have to read thousands to get the type of knowledge put into these.

I saw a bootleg of the new F4. Can't wait for it to come out on DVD, as the effects look phenomenal, but it was hard to tell on the bootleg. The story was decent, but relatively superficial. They should have made it a 2 hour movie instead of 90minutes and filled in some information.
