Brazil and nuclear energy.....

Ever since the fall of the third reich (and potentially harboring nazi war criminals), how hard has brazil been seeking nuclear energy? Sassie and I were talking about the large number or german and south american mixed people in south america. I've heard of Brazilian and German collaboration over the years trying to get nuclear energy. I wonder how close that is? I wonder if it already exists and a blind eye is turned to it because it is only used for peaceful purposes in producing energy? I guess it is more curiosity on my part.

You can bet they have two, Spook, the IEAv had designed two atomic bomb devices, one with a yield of twenty to thirty kilotons and a second with a yield of twelve kilotons. After they had the entire enrichment cycle down pat, and the bombs, they "disarmed".

As a side note, I know of some mercs in SA that helped hide a nuclear device the South Africans and the Israelies had designed and tested. They did a test shot in the South Atlantic on a cloudy day. The US complained but did nothing. The Israelies took their technology and went home. The South Africans hid their technology because the commies won the election.

The device is still in the bush. No ones ever come forward to help them find it.

Guys what about Japan? Everyone thinks that the japanese are very peaceful, but the stuff I have seen here borderlines in militarism. Brazil has so many internal problems and social inequality that the thought of them using Atomic enery is but a dream. OTOH, japanese people are taught from childhood that their government is "doing the best for them" and that they must work hard, harder and not question anything...that my friends is a true recipe for disaster.
