Bodybuilding and Smoking

I am smoking, i blame the first time i had tried that "fu**** sh*t"..

Now i'm trying to quit but it is really very difficult to do so, I've tried nicorrete gums, psychologists and many bullshit about quiting, nothing helped.

The last time i stopped smoking was for 3 months!! but after some real life problems i started again... :doh

What do you think about smoking + bodybuilding?
Are you smoking?

Suggest something to help me and others quit that bad habit.

I smoke cigars occasionally... I lose the desire during the summer.

As far as quitting goes, I've seen people try various things over the years.

Bottom line is, you'll only really quit when YOU really want to.

Ever try the pill to make you quit smoking? My grandmother took it after being diagnosed with cancer. If she took the pill and smoked, it would make her feel so bad that she stopped smoking. It worked too. She had been smoking since she was 12 and was in her 70s when she tried the pill. After a few months she decided to quit taking the pill so she could "stomach" smoking because she said "it's the only enjoyment I have in life."

I smoked a pack a day and then just decided to quit. I'm lucky in that I could do it cold turkey. I enjoy the smell of fresh tobacco being smoked, but the after taste and smell of stale smoke disgusts me.

Quitting was easy once I really decided it sucked. Before that I always failed because I didn't really want to quit, even though I thought I did.

yea . Ruhl does that and see any of his clips when he trains ... he´s badly out of shape cardio wise . he´s huffing and puffing after his first set . That´s what smoking does ( + no cardio)
