What is YOUR psychological reason for taking steroids?

Some of you have a napoleon complex, others were bullied at school. So whats your reason for getting juiced up?

My reason is none of the above. I was 12yrs old and I fell madly in love with a mixed-race girl at school. Im not a bad looking guy but she was only into brown skined guys, so i had no chance. I figured out that the only way that she would love me is if i died trying to save her life (pritty deep thoughts for a kid i know), so every night for nearly a year i prayed to the point of crying, wishing for a situation that would put her life in danger so i could save her life, die doing so and then she would have me to thank for every day of her life. That day never came and I never got to be her hero, so ever since then thats all i've wanted to be, a hero. And in order to be any good at being a hero you need some bad-ass muscles, hence my need to get juiced. Its amazing what the need to be loved can do to a boy.

I have had a major loss in my muscles overall due to a 3year battle with opiate addiction...I am now 3 yrs clean and still despite working out 4-5 days a week, eating right and a lot I can not gain back my 20-30 lbs of muscle and mass! My Dr says 30% of my testosterone production is gone due to the opiates. I was shocked and depressed. I thought this stupidity from my past will always be there. So isay **** that and if I need to get a "hand" up in my training and muscle gain than f*** it Ill take it. I consider this a psychological reason due to the fact that everyone I see from HS or childhood says wow you got small. I am deeply bothered by this. Now I am still waiting for my first cycle to come.AS. I am currently in great shape,IMO, but its no mass just skinny and somewhat well defined. I am 23yrs old, 5'8 140lbs with 5-6% BF. I was a built and cut wrestler in high school so it is important to me to Get back to 165-170 built and cut. I cant wait too try and solve this nagging problem. Oh and by the way Opiates are bad so if you dont want levels of lowlow teastosterone, stay away from painkillers!!! i am 23 with atest level of 400.

When I first started I used it to lose weight and gain muscle as many do... I had no intention on using for long. After realizing what can be done on juice as opposed to not being on, it's really hard not to use... So I started studying other steroids and added them in the cycles.

I am far stronger when I am on, with more stamina and the results are extremely excelled. Why go natty, when I can get it done in 1/4th the time?

The results come so fast and I do not have to be worried about spending months in the gym to get back into shape… A lil Test and I am back on track quick… It is a mental and physical crutch some may call it.

I have been off three years and Im about to do a cycle here in a few weeks or maybe sooner- I have been talking myself out of juice for three years and saying you dont need it...I have went from 138 to 210-215 and now im back at around 170-

I cant wait to start back and the I think I will do a test forever off and on and when I hit 40-50 I will explore a program that my bro does which is around 200mg every 7-10 days all the time or for like 10 of 12 months

I think once you have done it , I feel like to feel good or normal, you need it in some way
Ever since I have been off I have felt like skinny, tired, ugly, not hungry, weak, 1/2 hard ons...man give me some test so I can be happy and feel good again...I think test in many ways can be better then anti dep atleast it should be looked into further...I posted a harvard study on the as forum-

Because my legs have atrophied so badly that i went from legs like Tom Platz to legs like Pee Wee Herman.
But I started it all to break a plateau I hit many years ago and it wasn't out of vanity but just to get healthy and strong.
Activities and work kind of demand it.
Now its a goal to have that body that I had, back again.
