Anyone own a PSP?

I was talking to a dude today who uses his to watch movies and surf the web via wireless connection. He said it was actually pretty user friendly for surfing the web. I really need some sort of mobile web browser but I don't want to fork out the cash for a new laptop AND I would prefer something smaller than that anyway. Also, it seems like it would be cool to watch movies on (I know you have to buy them for the thing) during flights and road trips.

Any of you video game homos have one? What do you think about it?

The PSP I'm talking about is a hand held video game console that doubles as a movie player and internet browser. From what I've seen, I'm surprised more people are not using them instead of the ***ass IPOD with it's 2 inch screen and lack of web capability.

PSP sucks
games are expensive/cant be modified
