Which means this summer I'll be doing some OTR work (hopefully for a decent buck) and I'll be sure to show you guys pictures of my days as I plan on getting an aircard/laptop when i graduate so I don't get bored off my ass.

Opi, thats great! 24 weeks is a little long. I went 3 weeks, but ive been driving 10 years so anything you need bro ask me. PM on any questions. The only hard thing of trucking is backing up. But us here at IS have to get you a CB handle. OPI wont do it on the CB.

Someone will probably give you a cb handle along the way. Remember cb handles are given to you, you cant make up your own. Mine is Blackjack.

Study that paperwork because most people have trouble passing the walk around pre-trip inspection.

Also get a tv and dvd player and alot of movies and a good cb radio. But when you start with a company they will put you with a trainer for about a month then pass a test and you are all on your own. Get an exit guide and atlas. Youll make anywhere from 800-1200 a week depending on your miles you turn. But I cant say this enough DONT GET SLEEPY behind the wheel. Thats #1 reason for big truck wrecks.

You are freakin awesome. I was going to just try and get a nice laptop with a wireless aircard, ill get one with a dvd player too. I have to buy my own CB?
