Congressional pinheads on a Witch hunt for Clemons!!!!!

I watched this all day and they grilled Clemons like he was being accused of bloody murder. Their tone was condescending and rude during the whole 4 hrs and 40 minutes. These Congressman just looked like total asses with their holier than thou attitude. It was sickening.

Clemons is just full of shit. He is making himself look like a jackass in front of the whole world, and turning this into a media circus. Why can't these guys just fess up and say I used Steroids and be done with it. The man made millions of dollars throughout his career he should just walk away with dignity, and be truthful. IMO he deserved to be grilled the whole time because he got himself into this situation.

I agree Adam..McNamee it appears has him dead to rights anyway so he will be doing time now. He has perjured himself in front of the grand jury by denying everything. He could of kept his mouth shut to and taken the 5th. Better than what he has in store now.

I think Clemens is denying it b/c he didn't think his use could be proven. If it's one person against another, there's no way to tell who's lying other than a polygraph test (which some say are unreliable). He saw how the other baseball players were broken in Congressional hearings, how sports analysts basically shunned them from ever having shots at the Hall of Fame, and he didn't want to end up the same way. Bonds denied use, but there is a paper trail he didn't know about which will get him convicted of perjury. In Roger's case, Andy Pettite stepped in and added a kink in his planned chain lol.

guilty people always think they are not caught. remember a few yrs back how much money was wasted on your ex prez Clinton´s case w Monica Lewinsky?
hundreds of millions dollars of taxpayers money but in the end justice was done and evryone happy, right? Clinton too thought it was word against word..... not that these have anything common , other than that feeling of being safe by both men.
