I'm am familiar with the Space shuttle program and the incident they had a few years back. The Space Shuttle is shielded with special heat dissipating tiles along the underside of the vessel. There was just slight damage to a few of those tiles and it pretty much caused the shuttle to disintegrate. Yes there was some debris but that Shuttle pilot had already navigated down through a significant portion of the atmosphere all the while trying to bleed off speed through alternating the ships orientation to some degree back and forth (air braking if you will) STILL the Shuttle for all intents and purposes disintegrated.

Now to the present...this satellite is going to fall from orbit...even low Earth orbit. Its not aerodynamic in the least, has no heat shielding for traversing the atmosphere, and no capability to bleed off speed...in short it is going to fall like a rock and disintegrate much faster than the Shuttle did. And our government is saying they are concerned that toxic JET FUEL is going to make it through that burning inferno that is going to rip that satellite apart???

I think this is all contrived to give the old missile shield a demonstration and show Russia and China that yes we do indeed have the bigger dick. I don't object to us doing this btw but I can't help but remark that I feel it is blatantly obvious what our true intentions are here, and that the government needs to get some better material to pull over the public's eyes...
