She finally answered her phone. Same old bullshit excuses. Whatever, wouldn't be as annoying if any of these so-called friends knew how to pick up their phones and make phone calls.

A different girl did the same shit to me last night. It's like a freakin tease, I get ready to go and they never show.

I can't stand unreliable irresponsible people. Just makes them seem so immature.

i don't know about everyone else, but if my friends ditched me as much as flirt's ditch her, well, we wouldn't be friends anymore. this stuff just doesn't occur in my group of friends, ya know.

I know I wouldn't bother calling people that treated me that way, and if they called me or stopped over, I would probably just act like my mind was elsewhere, and make them feel a bit uncomfortable, till they just left me alone.

Once you can drive again, flirt...you should get out there and make some new friends.

Ya know why I think this is so hard for me, cause I've never had to rely on them before, I've ALWAYS been the one they relied on. I was always there for them, I've traveled across the country to be there for them when they needed me and bent over back wards to do everything I could for them.

It's very obvious I was the glue that kept our circle of friends together. I know I have been a better friend to all of them then they are being to me now. In my heart I really don't consider them friends anymore, not after what I've been through this past 6 months with them.

Sadly, I've known them all more than 10 years and I've grown to love them. I guess we all lose people we love, it's obvious they didn't share the feelings of love and friendship I felt. I try very hard to be positive about this, but it weighs on my mind that I would never have come back to NY if it weren't for all these "friends" and my Grandma. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I was here and could be a part of my Grandmother's last months of life .. but it kills me that for the 4 years I spent living elsewhere every time I talked to these people they begged me to come home - talking about how much they missed me.. etc. etc.

Before I left Missouri, my Grandmother told me that she knew in my heart I wanted to come here for her, but not to let anyone else talk me into it. That I needed to do what was best for me. I didn't, I allowed them to help convince me and the last 10 months I've been back in NY have been the worst 10 months of my life, I've been through more in the past 10 months than some endure in their entire life. These are the times I am suppose to be able to lean on those friends, and they're not there for me. It's time to move on, it's just not as easy to do when in my current situation.

Rant rant rant.. sorry....

I know it'll get better, I know I need to stay positive. It's so hard to stand strong when you feel like there is something there to knock you down every time you get back up. I know I'm here for a reason, and I'm determined to figure out what it is. I have learned that I don't need anyone, I can do this on my own, no matter how hard it is or how frustrated I get I will get through it.

That's how I feel, I hate to have to depend on them, but for the 1 out of 10 times they do come through for me - they're all I have. Unfortunately my family around here doesn't help me very often either. So, I wouldn't ever have a ride to the grocery store, doctor's or laundry mat if it weren't for them. I have to keep my built up frustrations inside and just continue to act like it doesn't bother me to be treated this way.. at least until I can be 100% reliant on myself again. Then, the shit will be hitting the fan as my moving truck hits the highway.

New friends would be a good idea - but at this point I'm a bit skeptical of everyone and everyone's intentions. I think I'll stick to the out of state and online 'friends' I have and maybe make a few new associates. I am really starting to think life alone will be better anyways... then there won't be any drama.
