Well, what an interesting morning I've had.

I really don't understand the justice system.

what an interesting last 14 hours or so....

i'm too tired and lazy to go into detail at the moment, but my girlfriend was admitted to the ER last night at midnight, and as soon as i found out i hopped in the truck and drove two and a half hours to be with her. i'm missing alot of class, but i promised her that i would always be here when she needs me, and i am.

she's fine now. it wasn't anything incredibly serious, but i wanted her to see that i'm always here for her. she's got something wrong with her throat (no comments please) and it was closing up on her as she was trying to go to sleep. she couldn't talk and breathing was becoming a difficulty.

sucked pretty bad for me though, cause i had a two and a half hour drive in some pretty awful weather, after funneling 5 beers and casually drinking 3... within an hour and a half or so. i know it wasn't smart, but i hold my own when it comes to alcohol.

and plus, i'm a criminal justice major. i know that i can blow a 1.2, but if that officer hasn't observed me driving recklessly, then a DUI charge will get thrown out in court 9.9 times out of ten. that's just georgia's laws... "for someone to be driving under the influence, an officer must observe that person driving recklessly..."

and lucky me...i'm not a reckless driver.
