Me too. It was only for a little while, but knowing it may very well be the last time I see my aunt alive makes the visit that much more special. My cousin was there as well. My grandfather didn't come, but hopefully I will get to see him on my next trip to Florida.

My mother is probably my favorite person in the world - I only wish she knew I felt that way. I hate not being able to be close to her and our usual communication is through email, which sucks, but I guess it's better than none at all.

Oh, and neither my mom or grandma hugged me.. or acted like they wanted a hug.. that makes me sad.. but oh well.. can't do anything about it now.

Well, life is short. Communicate while you can, If you don't....you'll wish you had.
The hug thing is kinda weird....my old man was never that type of person, but his health isn't so good, and recently he took one of his last business trips to Mexico....when I took him to the airport and dropped him off, I got out of the car, and gave him a hug...his eyes teared up. 2 weeks later when I picked him up from the airport, HE greeted me with a hug. I was SHOCKED...I don't ever remember him doing that before, ever....
Long story short, you know what I'm getting at.
