Remember when police cars had a continual, normal rising and falling pitch in their sirens and you knew it was a real siren? What is it with police sirens now that makes me not want to take them too seriously? They go "Whoop whoop.........whoop whoop whoop......whoop!" WTF? I'm expecting Curly from the Three Stooges to get out of the car and ask for my liscense and registration as he tries to poke me in the eyes.

Remember when Star Wars: Episode III came out? I went to see it, and I'm fairly nerdy, but most of the theatre was filled with uber nerds. When the showed the scene with the computer generated Jabba the Hut, several people said, "Fake!"

What are the expecting? I wonder if any of them have actually seen a vagina.

The sirens are actually making a comeback............we now have what is know as a Federal-Q siren on all of our trucks and they make the same sounds..............I freaking hate them but they do work well............
