The political route is finished. Its absolutely impossible to beat the bastards at their own game. So as they've tightened their grip through politics they've started to realize that sooner than later the only way to maintain that grip is going to be with force. Thats been the direction this patriot act business has been moving.

Things are too plush here right now for many people to even give a shit. Food and fuel have both been relatively cheap for a long time. Right now its easy street...but cracks in that facade are starting to show. People are going to have to go through some serious hurting before any real action will occur.

The cycle will continue just as it always has, this civilization will eventually burn and be replaced by another. In the meantime I'm keeping my powder dry...
