I dont think women prefer being with a man who is a jerk just as much as men dont prefer to be with a woman who is a b*tch...... with that said I think it comes down to how much self-respect a person has for themselves and just how much respect they demand from the other person to treat them with dignity and human decency. I gaurentee you, anyone with any level of self-esteem would'nt put up with bullsh*t from anyone.
