Not Just Another Jerk

In today's society, women prefer jerks.

Apparently , "Jerks" perpretrate to keep women off balanace and enable them to feel like, " Wow! Evidently this guy doesn't seem to need me....He doesn't even seem to like me that much....I MUST have him! I must discover a way to conquer him and make him mine!"

This creates additional difficulty in my quest.

Because the problem is that I simply just refuse to be a complete imbecile, an asshole, all of the time just to have someone find me interesting, valuable, attractive & worth holding on to.

Perhaps there exists one woman out there who wants to meet a real person rather than a cardboard cut-out with a penis. So far she has been rather elusive.

I might be somewhat different than the men you have been encountering and dealing with.

Because my chief occupation, despite all appearances, has always been love. I've just had considerable trouble interesting anyone else in it.

If you're sick of the results you've been getting, perhaps then that is a good thing and I may hear from you....

It's not that we prefer jerks ... only that I, for example, always end up dating guys who are mean to me. That's why most of my relationships turned out bad and left me heart broken

As I'm entering my 25th year of marraige ( God help me ) I obviously have been away from the dating scene for some time. But when I was in my hunter - gatherer phase, it was pretty apparent the less attention I paid to girls, the more intrigued they became. Now I'm not sure exactly what you mean by being a jerk. Is it physical or verbal abuse? I am not guilt of that but I am guilty of showing disinterest, which drove them crazy.

ahhhhhhhh, don't get me wrong, I am not specifically referring to appearances. We all know they only play a role in the initial attraction. For that matter, I am told that I am an attractive man w/my "bad boy" looks, but it doesn't mean that my character is "bad boy" or that I am a thug bad boy.....

I do agree though it does seem like the majority of them do, but if that's the way they feel they're not the right women for you anyways. Stay true to who you are and you'll meet the right woman who loves & appreciates you for who you are!
