I really like charcoal grills, and someone already mentioned that you can buy a chimney for starting the charcoal that doesn't require lighter fluid. I've seen these chimney things at Walmart and I think that is where I got mine. They are cheap, you use newspaper to get the charcoal started, then when the charcoal is white on the surface, you are ready to cook.



I also love firepits that uses wood.

I would recommend getting a large smoker. It cooks through indirect heat and takes longer but the meat is so friggin good.....................mmmmmmm

I have a smoker grill (barrel type of grill), but it takes forever to smoke brisket until it is tender. Stuffed pork chops though? Yum!
