Is it normal to feel this way?

After my last relationship I feel like I'll never find a woman who I can really see myself with the rest of my life. I also feel like it's not even worth my time and trouble... I kinda enjoy being single, even though I'm not a pig like other guys. I don't enjoy bars and that sort of thing because I don't like the crowds... I'm just tired and I have to drive to Philly for class, ignore me

That's what I was going to say. You been talking about your break up with your ex for quite a long time now, and I am not trying to be harsh but you REALLY need to move on. The only reason you should have to be still thinking about your ex is if you have kids with her. Otherwise, get over it pal. You are young man!

how about you find yourself some new tail and test it out, see how you feel after. Internet personals are all good and easy to start without having to go to bars and so on...

I usually have trouble around the holidays since there's nobody around. That's when I eat my holiday dinner of spaghettio's cold out of the can while cleaning my gun.

Seriously, it's always feast or famine for me. It comes in two year stints like a dang cycle. Nobody then I have them crawling out of the woodwork like a heard of cockroaches. So about the time you're done and through looking you'll have a whole herd you'll be jockeying around trying to keep them apart. In the mean time don't forget that those meatballs in the spaghettio's are full of protein and it's easy to eat around the pasta.

Oh yeah, I forgot. Make sure you leave a message on your answering machine around the holidays letting them know what you're doing and what you're eating. Freaks family members out big time.

I'm not depressed by any means... I actually (this is really off subject) got up to 154 at the gym last week I've never been higher than 150 natural. When I started gas I got up to 180, met liz, broke up many times, went to 130, now Im up almost 25 pounds, I could give two shits about women anymore... I was trying to say that I don't think I'll be happy with anyone, I like it being just me sometimes.. Yeah I miss her sometimes and I always will, I'd probably take her back if I knew things would be different, but I'm too happy right now to worry about it... Plus I finish school hopefully in a month and I'll get my ass on the road and see the country if I decide to go OTR for more money, hell maybe team driving, those guys can pull an easy 100k from what I've seen

Well you're no different from all of us. We've all been right there in the same place you have sometime in our lives. You have lot's of opportunities to look forward to. Sounds like you're in a good place and looking at alternatives like you should be at this point. We wish you well and hope to enjoy your company on this thread and many more.

I feel ya bro...............I have said in the past that if it wasn't for the whole hairy ass, pecker sucking thing..........I'd probably be geigh. I know this sounds insane to some but, I am on my third marriage and luckinly I have no children with the 2 former Mrs. Para's but, I thought the same way for along time and actually happened into this relationship by chance and it has worked out great for me. We have times when I want to split her skull open with a hammer, take 2 trash bags and a bag of lime and ..................anyway, the point is this.


Any time you have a dynamic relationship with two human beings you will inevitably have conflict. Even if it's your parents who most of us love, you best friend even.............given a long enough time line, every relationship will have problems. You feel like your better off alone and that is great brother............I think too many people in this world are co-dependent and rely on the other person to make THEMSELVES happy. You know the old story....my wife is pissed so I am pissed............

Anyway, the fact that you actually enjoy some solitude and that you are not scared of it means that you are a very emotionally healthy person and you should be happy. We should all be so lucky. The problem can arise if you stay that way for too long and you forget how to be with another person and I don't mean sexually. You have to find a happy balance and that is completely up to you to define because for each of us, it differs.

I say congrats brother, you don't have your emotions defined by another person and that is great.

The key to a healthy, long lasting relationship is.......................ALCOHOL. Whenever that sea hag of mine starts firing off her verbal darts, I have a couple, go into my he man woman haters room in the back and that loud shrill nagging voice becomes a low level annoyance, like having a fly in the room. Seriously Opi, keep a positive outlook, pursue bettering yourself and good things will come.
