I know what ya mean about the house thing. My pop is a healthy 76 but he's still 76 and one day he will pass. The house that I grew up in and go to every wk or so will likely be sold and that will kill me. So many memories. It will be so sad to see the place I grew up with gone.....

Time heals, sure but if youre like me, unfortunately it takes alot of time.

we only live one day at time. you surely know how to tresure every day while still have dad alive and visit his house. we don´t know what tomorrow brings. knew that day would come too.......

Well my wifes dad passed almost a month ago now and he and I had a close relationship. When all of his children were always to busy- my wife and I always took care of him. We miss him dearly, but we gave him the most important thing we have - Time!

yea , that and CARE. you showed you cared. that prolly was the most important thing you did to him. that will help you both in your healing process....
