Tony Snow, former press secretary died today

Many people may say what they will about Tony being on Fox News, being a conservative, being the press secretary for Bush, and being a Bengals fan, but even his staunchest rivals in the press corp loved him and considered him to be one of the nicest people anyone could ever meet with the best character of any one you could meet as well. Even though most people knew him as a Cincinnati boy, he was technically a Kentucky boy. He wasn't only a newsman, but he would also play in concert with groups such as Jethro Tull when the opportunities would arise. Tony died at the age of 53 from colon cancer that spread to his liver.

I was saddened to hear about this. I liked Tony Snow, he was one of the most articulate faces the press secretary position has ever known.

He projected a great presence at the podium didn't he. You always seemed intrigued to listen to him.
