To be honest with you John............I got no desire to start another business. I started building when I was young and after I became a medic, I hate a lot of time off and I kept doing it. Later on though, it wasn't any fun............it was all about the money and I lost part of myself and also part of my family in that whole thing............it consumed me.

My wife and I both feel that losing it all was the best thing in the end although, it wasn't any fun while it was going on...........It's funny though, how many of those people turned on me in a heartbeat. I had one supplier from a small town near here that I bought from whenever I was close......I spent about 50-60k a month with them which made me their largest builder and they would talk about all the things good..............but when I had a bad run, they turned in a heartbeat............

A man told me along time ago that a friend is someone you can leave your wallet and your wife with and be gone for a month and when you come back, neither one would be touched.....................now how many friends do you have ?

It's all a learning curve for me.............I have seen many things, some of which I wish I hadn't (eh Rat?)..........But in the end, I am working as a medic again (always got that to fall back on) and I am working on my undergraduate degree in psychology and hopefully if the world lasts a bit longer, I want my masters and I hope to start counseling people..................


At least I broke the chain..............my kids won't ever have to do the things I did to eat...........

Them taking over has become sort of necessary if we want any chance of avoiding what is probably coming......

If those banks fail its going to be really really bad for the economy.... I don't like government bailing out business as usually I feel its just them helping the top couple percent of the people instead of the people who really need it, but in this case its just necessary; every economist from liberal to centrist to conservative has said if those banks fail hello depression.

I gotta say para, that story makes you think if its always worth it just to make some more money if your health was that bad; you can't take the cash with you when you go.
