I thinks it's too vague of a quote to attribute to a single source. Many people have said as much with slightly different wording. Lance Armstrong, for example.

Can you believe he turned eighty-two this year? I read his book "Hef's Little Black Book" a few years ago. It's a good read. Check it out.

I don't have a "hero" but my kids did save my life it was the last year at cal state fullerton playing football I had a child on the way and was cramming anything in me everything from cocaine to anadrol all in execss ,then my child was born I truly fell to my knees and cried my ex thinks it was because it was that i was having a baby .The real reason is I never belived in GOD but when I saw my beautiful daughter being born I KNEW truly KNEW there is a GOD it has been 21 years and I have not done any narcotics of any kind since .If it wasn't for having my two kids I would truly been dead along time ago !and realizing there is a greater power than myself and I am so gratefull for my children ,thanks for letting me share my story Morskaya_Pekhota a great thread

my mom. she was the most humble and loving person I ever knew. she had time for everyone : my sisters , their kids , me, my family . she made no difference between us . all were equally important and all were helped if she could . no badmouthing . she was simply perfect . since no human is perfect I must admit I´m a bit biased here. I knew the day would come I had to say farewell to her . what i did not know it came all too soon. rip mom
