Some help from you people from the US of A!

Basic backstory first,
Im trying hard to get a working visa in the US at the moment.
Has always been something i want to do and im at a time in my life at the moment where it is actually possible.
Im 24, have no degree and no relatives living in the states, so getting one is proving to be difficult.

I am viable for a H2B visa (1-3 years) though, If i can find a company to sponsor my application.
Im looking into this at the moment....

Where you guys come in is this, im a nightclub manager, have been for the past 7 years and want to remain one.
I know nothing of the different states, or there characteristics, or there community etc and obviously its a big decision.

Just wanted some background info on some states or cities that could help with my decision.
For example ive been told New Yorkers are quite hostile (possibly a massive generalisation), and its not an easy place to live if youre not used to a big city enviroment.
Obviously ill need a city with a good night life due to my career path.

Miami Beach is a great place for nightlife and there is a lot of money there if you can get into the right club
