Where is a good place to camp Navajo style in the US.

I always loved nature and was thinking of coming to the States this summer for a vacation of sort. One of the things I want to do is to camp next thing to a small clear river and light a fire, undisturbed by commercial noises or other people. I was thinking maybe Idaho, but then I have never been to the States before so I have no idea what I'm talking about. I love red rocks, trees, waterfalls and stuff. Any ideas ?

Beavers Bend State Park, Oklahoma, it has alot of primative areas as well as modern areas. It also has a strong Native American feel. It's where I grew-up Bro and a great place when thinking about nature. If you do consider it let me know! We can meet up and hang-out.
