Allright i have been on a low carn diet under 20 per day every day and I have now plateaued. I am not loseing any more. It has been 22 days since I lost any weight on the scale and my pants don't feel any looser either. What is up? I am doing the cardio mornings/empty stomach. Using a E/C/A stack. I am really getting pissed. I feel like I am wasting my time. How can I be in ketosis, workout and cardio, be cutting my calories a bit below maintenance and NOT be dropping any descent amount of bodyfat? I just don't get it. I have to be using FAT for fuel right? I using alot of Flax and Borage and Olive oils and drinking alot of Whey shakes with it. But I am confused because I was under the assumption that I have to be burning FAT for energy in the state I am in but it is not translating scale wise or mirror wise or clothes wise. I am really pissed.
I also checked my thyroid before I started by taking my morning body temperature before I get out of bed and it wasn't unususally low. 97.7 which might be a little low, but shouldn't be the problem. Any ideas before I run and get an IV of DNP/ClEN/CYTOMEL. I am almost at that point. |

The I V of DNP/Clen/CYTOMEL was just a joke I thought I put JK in there. Anyways I thought the best way to burn fat was cardio on an empty stomach 1st thing in the morning.

I have been doing cardio on a empty tank in the morning also... Try to add 2g of L-Caritine, it is suposse to make fat come to burn for energy... Keep cardio at a low intesity and don't overdo it... I do 45min at like 4 speed on the treadmill... My H/R stays between 130-140..... Use the carbs in you post drink and meals......

I guess I have to get some T3 but I am still confused about why I am not dropping any more FAT. I have always had problems dropping BF. I don't get that fat even if I eat junk food all the time but it seems that I can't lose it. Pissed

Are you doing a low-carb diet? Or a high-fat diet?
There is a huge difference, doing a low-carb diet without ample fat will be extremely catabolic. You need to have sufficient fat in your diet! You need to have at least a 1:1 ratio of fat to protein, if not more fat. Taking a few tablespoons of flax oil a day will not work... A typical CKD is 70% fat and 30% protein at 11x your bodyweight...so 200lbs * 11 = 2200. You will need to consume around 171 grams of fat/day and 165 grams of protein/day. Are you really doing that? Are you consuming enough calories on the Carb-up day? For example on a carb-up day for me, I consume 20 bowls of oatmeal...yes, I said 20. Not including protein... Are you tracking every piece of food that enters your mouth? Seriously, though I've put a few people on a CKD given them the plan and they almost consistantly don't consume enough fat and don't carb up properly. --- 8D~ |

Morning 6 eggs w/4 slices bacon 4 sausage 10:30 38 gram Desinger whey shake 3 tbsp Flax 1:30 1 can of tuna w/ mayo 4 asparagus 4 38 gram Designer 2 tbsp flax 1 Olive oil 7 Steak w/spinach and butter 10:30 38 gram shake 2 tbsp flax 1 borage 1 serving of Phylum Husks (fiber) *supplements Cla Hydroxycut (add Yohimbe) Efa Capsules Multi vitamin and mineral, coral calcium, guggulsterones chromium Picolonate 800 mcg, Vanadyl, 4 grams vitamin C, Glucosamine + Chondroitin and a few others. ** Have not done a carb up yet maybe that is what I need because I have been too concerned about losing a few days of potential BF by getting out of Ketosis. My sticks turn a light pink which I thought meant was good because I am using ketones for fuel. Rarely but once in a while at night they turn darker pink light purple. I believe I am following things correctly but it just doen't make sense to me. Maybe I need to shock myself with a carb up what do you think? I have some Glucorell to add to my carb up when I do it but again I have been waiting to drop some significant fat before I do the carb up, which doesn't seem to be happening. |
