Whey Isolate versus Whey Concentrate

Someone slap me in the face and correct me if I'm wrong on this. Whey isolate is what will go through your system rather quickly, while concentrate takes longer to digest? So is it a good idea to combine the two together?

No.They both experience rapid uptake/oxidation.CASEIN is slower digesting,and that's probably what you're thinking of.The difference between Isolate and concentrate forms has to do with Isolate being a much purer form of AA's/protein.Concentrate carries much more Lactose and fat,which can lead to digestive probs/gut fermentation in those sensitive.If you can afford it,always opt for the Isolate form.Your body will thank you for it.

Isopure is aslo a great choice because it is 100% Whey Isolate. It is also clear when mixed with water. But it is fairly expensive. 2 lbs is around $40-$50.

All the Whey has great prices on Isolate and Concentrate, but my preference is proteincustomizer.com where I can make my own blend. 50% Isolate, 30% Egg, 20% Micellar Casien. Nitro Tech to me is a waste of money, you end up paying more of the labeling and thier advertising then you do for quality protein.

a pure concentrate has tonnes of lactose
