Question about peanuts..

Okay, you know how your not suspose to eat carbs late in the day right.. ( right now i cut carbs at 2 in the afternoon ). But i was wondering about peanuts.. is that also considered carbs? they do contain some carbs.. so if im cutting, and on diet.. is it a bad thing to eat a serving ( 45 grams or so ) of peanuts before bed? and if i got a big bag of peanuts here, can i make my own natural PB? if so.. then how? and would it be better to have a serving of peanuts, or nat. PB before bed?

peanuts are in no way a source of carbohydrates. just eat natty pb so you don't get any added sugar. just have a spoonful or blend it w/ a shake.

..since the 8g of Protein and 15g of Fat will stabilize any insulin response that the carbs might have triggered. I am cutting, progressing quite well and I have been eating 1-2 servings of PB(Trader Joe's Natural) per day. Mid-day I might grab a small handful of peanuts, roughly 30g and 2 Table spoons of PB with Micellar Casein & Whey Shake at 11pm

Peanuts or Natural Peanut Butter are fine on a keto-type diet.Carb/sugar impact is quite minimal,and they are a great source of healthy fats.

Great! Cuz i love em lol, i can't find any natty PB at the stores around here tho.. anyway i can make my own?

Okay cool, i found some recipies.. basically all ya gotta do is ground up the peanuts ina blender and add some oil to it.. ( makes sense lol ).. i should always and only eat the unsalted peanuts tho right? or is it not too bad to eat the salted ones.. or what..
