Post workout carbs

Just wanted to get everybodys veiw on what they thought would be the ideal post wo drink :ie: best ratio carbs to protein and best type of carb source to take with protein??

depends on your weight and training...

but whey protein with dextrose

i'd say if your like 200lbs... 80-150 grams of dextrose with about 50 grams of whey protein.... 150 carbs if u trained legs... 80 if u trained arms.

I like to drink the product endurox toward the end of my workout (53 carbs+14 protein) and then when I get home I'll have some more protein and carbs, like a vanilla mrp w/ some O.J. and a bannana. seems to work well.

dextrose usually works best......biggest slin spike, stops cortizone, shuttles glucose back into muscles.

Interesting I was at the store the other day buying some chiken GEE! imagine that LOL anyhow i got a bottle of Pedilite you know to replave electrolyts seems there is alot of dextrose in that maybe ill try with whey as post wo drink.
How much carbs and protein in grams per lb i'm 183 not sure of BF% and train hard 3/1 ratio?

I would not overconcern myself with ratios, Scrapper gave good advice on amts. above, also save yourself the money and order some dextrose online for 2 bucks a lb., then you can mix it with what you like....just my .02

Yep 100 grams of simple carbs withh 50 frams of Whey. Can you believe someone from elsewhere is trying to argue that low gi carbs are better immediately post workout then High Gi carbs. Claiming oatmeal to be the best. Not True.

honestly if u are carb sensitive 80 grams of dextrose will not help u a lot.
i would go 40 grams of dextrose and after 30 min
do oatmeal with shakes and after 30 min again brown rice and chicken.

40 grams of dextrose will do the job if u are under 200 lbs!

i was doing 100 grams of dextrose before and got fat from it!
i switched the ratios and now i am ok.
just my 2 cents
