What to eat on day 1 CKD

First off let me say that the ANPB diet is simply amazing. I've been on it for 7 days and so far I have lost 1.5% bf, from 13 to about 11.5.

I would now like to try a CKD, and I've done quite a bit of research, but one thing is still not clear to me. What do you eat on Day 1 to get that 85% fat? Is it basically a liquid diet of flax oil, or is there some other way? I read your other post where you recommended fatty meats, but it they still seem to have too much protein.

If you have so much good results from the ANPD then why do u wanna change to a CKD.

If u lost 1.5% bf in one week then you will be under 10% bf in at least a fortnight!

I agree w/ johnboyindahouse, why reinvent the wheel if you're getting such great results?

It seems as though CKD might be more effective as there are less carbs--on the ANPB diet I am still eating 36g of carbs every day. My ketostix always show a trace, so I was thinking that to get to that deep purple I have to significantly cut the carbs. I have to go to south beach in a 10 days and I'd like to try to get over the final hump before then (if possible).

Bu the bottom line is that you know much more than me, so if you think I should stick to the peanut butter, I will.

I'd stick to the ANPB... too simple to screw up. Make sure to carb up before you go.

Anything under 100g carbs per day will get you into ketosis - after 3 weeks, anything under 35g carbs will get you/keep you in ketosis.

Ketostix measurements are not exemplary of actual outcomes of ketosis due to the nature of the keto stick.

Thanks for responding so quickly...just one more question--I've read that too much protein can also be counterproductive, and that on the ANPB you are constantly in and out of ketosis; that is another reason I was considering the ckd. Is there a significant difference in the result between the two?

The result difference if minor, maybe 5-10% at the most.
