Default Looking for opinions on this...

Ok well this is like my 5th time trying to get things right.
In the last month I've lost about 12lbs. I'm around 174lbs, 5'11"-6' and I think around 16% BF...

As of now I'm taking a Multivitamin, Whey protein, Xenadrine EFX, CLA (once in a while), and do a cycle of Creatine once in a while.

My normal diet look like this:

Pre-Breakfast
Scoop of Whey Protein (20 grams protein)
Xenadrine EFX (2 pills)

Cardio-30mins to an hour
(Nordictrack)

Breakfast
2 eggs
Scoop of Whey
Occasional Bacon (2 strips)

Snack
2 String Cheese
or
3 slices of deli sliced white turkey or roast beef.

Gym (monday, wednesday, friday)

Post work out
Scoop of Whey
2 Xenadrine pills

Dinner
5-6oz grilled chicken breast
1 cup green beans

Snack
Occasionally an apple
or
4 crackers with Peanut Butter

Is this looking like a decent plan for fat burning? That is my main concern right now, Id like to not LOSE muscle, gaining would be great but I know that is VERY hard to do while trying to lose fat.

Now my other question is since once a month or every other month I run a creatine cycle, is this going to stop or dramatically slow fat burning? I know there is a debate on the insulin spike, but EVERYONE suggests taking it with a fruit juice or taking the flavored creatine with water since it already has the sugar. During loading I take it 3 times a day, this would be around 90 carbs from all sugar...Is this a bad idea should I drop the creatine cycle, or what would you suggest to do.

Id like to get my BF as low as possible by summer, and then start building again over the summer.

Any suggestions would be appriciated. Also Id like to keep the price of supplements under 100$ a month, I can't really afford hundreds of dollars every month on top of bills and such :-/

Looks good cept your snacks, you will probably kick yourself out of ketosis by eating apples, crackers, and peanut butter. Try some other snacks like nuts, porkrinds, and tuna. As for cycling the creatine EOM, Mr. X suggests taking creatine while CKD'n. But why not just run the CKD and lose all the fat, and then do a bulking cycle over the summer?

Im not running CKD...I tried running it, but I cant get enough foods in my daily diet to stay under the carb limit and be high enough in fat and protein...There arent very many foods that I eat, and I don't have alot of money to spend on supplements.

DJ, clear this up for me

basically, you're trying to lose bodyfat while keeping mass?

if so you're going to have to rework your plan and add more fat into the diet - at least 1tbsp flax w/ protein-only meals

Ok, Ive been tryin to think this out for a couple weeks, and been tryin some different things.

First off yes, Im in the gym doing weights 3 times a week so I dont want to LOSE muscle, just the fat. I'm not a BIG muscle guy right now, so I really dont want to lose what I got.

Im tryin for cardio at least 3 times a week and normally before I eat in the mornings, unless I have a protein drink before hand, and my xenadrine efx.

Also I wake up around 12 in the afternoon cuz of late nights DJin, but my normal schedule I go to bed around 3am and wake up around 12 in the afternoon.

I get sick when I eat fish, and I eat mostly plain foods. I dont have ALOT of money for supplements, protein, sometimes creatine, multi-vitamins, xenadrine efx, is about all I can afford.

From some of my posts you can probably tell I understand what I need to do or eat...I just have a hard time figurin out what to eat, and when... :-/

My list of foods is really slim lol

I'd do CKD, but I cant get #'s right, and the list of supplements seems pretty long. Ive lost around 12 lbs like i said, and added some muscle in the last month, but it seems like im not goin anywhere now....

Id really like some help figurin/workin this out.

CKD is really simple, almost too simple, you might get bored with the foods...eggs, bacon or sausage in the morning, brunch could be some cheese and nuts, i usually drink a protein shake with flax for lunch, and have some sort of snake like porkrinds or cheese adn nuts again before dinner, and for dinner i will have chicken or been with a salad, and then finish off with some low carb ice cream made with splenda....pm me if you want some more meal options...i have lost 20lbs in 5 weeks....

My only worry with CKD is that I wont have enough fats or protein, keeping low carbs is not too hard i guess...but i dont have too much time to eat during the day...If I cant hit the high amounts of fats and protein, wont i be doing more harm than good...?

You can run a CDK - and it would be more sound.

Use oils as a base for fat intake; for example, 2tbsp. of flax in the AM /3tbsp. flax in the PM and add some fat during the day - that would get you where you want to be.

Surely better than a carb-based diet.

Yeah, i was just sayin, Like today Ive had a total of 5 carbs maybe 6, but I have no idea what my fat totals or protein totals were all I know is protein was over 40 because of shakes and chicken.

SO I have no idea wether I would hit the high number of fat and protein...

I didnt know if that would be doing more harm than good, if i dont make it to those given totals.
