Fish oil is VERY low in EFAs this person is a bit off here. I would NEVER pop 40 capsules, just take in 2tbsp. You will not die if you don't eat fish oil! If absolutely needed, add 1 tbsp. UDOs choice before bed.

Mr. X, I started this about a week ago, and it's going great. But why no PW shake? Last week, I was taking in about 40g of whey and a tbsp of G-plenish PW, and was thinking about adding just 30g of dextrose with R-ALA into this. Is there some reason this shouldn't be done? All this was in addition to the 6 meals/day of pb/protein.

b/c it's counterproductive to the diet and might kick you out of ketosis

Hey wideload, I am in CS, TX too! lol small world heh.

Mr. X-

First lemme say you are the MAN! I can't wait to try out this diet, however I am a wee bit cautious about some of the calculations. I am going through a period in my life where, bue to severe scheduling issues, my ability to workout is almost non-existant other than what I can do with a dumbbell at my desk. Over the last few months I have put on quite a bit of weight. I feel really pathetic lol. I am 6'3" 280lbs. Due to my level of deskbound work, I am a little curious if my BMR should be weight*12 or not. It seems like a huge amount of cals for me to be taking in given my low levels of activity. I do what I can, but I have come to the point where I can't stand sitting in this desk and feeling myself die minute by minute anymore! I am getting out of here ASAP but my situation does not allow for it right now. In the meantime I want to do what I can to cut some of the fat from my somewhat fat ass. Perhaps you can provide me with some assistance? I would much appreciate it.

I checked out some other BMR calcs on the web and got BMRs of like 2400 cals, but I figured someone more geared towards fitness and working out will have a better conept of what I need. I am sure you get shit like this all the time, but I appreciate everything you do bro.

I am currently on a CKD, but the amount of food preparation required for me to keep up with it is not gonna work out. I have stuck with it for about 6 weeks and I have seen some decent results, but I don't have enough time to do the upkeep on my diet lol.

Most of all I can't wait to go back to the gym. Its so damn bad that I dream about it lol, but I would be embarrased as fuck to go back in my current state lol.

You can do weight x 10-11 if you feel w x 12 is too much calories for you.

Try w x 10 and see if it's feasible for you.

Perhaps this is a somewhat uninformed statement. But I thought the golden rule of keto diets what that whey should not be taken EXCEPT AFTER a workout to replenish glycogen stores... and that dextrose and what not would not effect one's ketosis.

I was always informed that whey causes insulin spikes which will knock you out of ketosis... does the peanut butter slow it down?

on the ANPB diet you're in and out of ketosis
not always stable
