Headaches?

I have had really bad headaches the last few days and I am not sure why. They usually come on during a workout about midway and stay with me the rest of the workout.

The strange thing is, I am only getting these headaches when I am training, boxing or lifting weights. This has never happened before so I am kinda worried. The pain is only in one place on the side of my head--really strange. The headache will go away about after an hour, but it makes it really hard to train with a head that is pounding with pain.

Has anyone has a similar experience??

Yes, I have. It turned out to be high blood pressure.

How about swinging by the pharmacy today and using their blood pressure machine--those work just fine. If you bp is somewhat elevated while you're at rest, it can shoot up high enough during your workout to cause the headaches. If your bp is normal or low while you're at rest, you're problem is elsewhere.

Nasal polyps are my second guess.

In any case, I'd feel a whole lot better if you'd phone up a doctor and make an appointment to check it out. Don't worry...just do it.

Growths in your sinus cavity which can cause a lot of pain when you lift, bend over, exert yourself, sneeze, etc etc. They're not uncommon in people who have severe allergies.

Sometimes when I sneeze I feel like my heart is going to explode, but I think it is just some built up or stored congestion in my lungs.
