Have any of you ever tried Mentzer's HIT thoeries of training? I am considering switching to this for awhile. Its time to change up my workout. I'm wondering what kind of results you have seen from high intensity training.

i actually started this wednesday, and did a shoulders/arms day....jesus it was intense, and today was legs/abs...WOW....my body has never been this sore in its life. i suggest you give it a try.

that post was like watching the matrix movie, i had to read it 4 times to figure out what the hell you were trying to say with al your intent and intend and deep breaths with "real exercises" opposed to not real ones...

lol. Can anybody post the basic workout and split for the week? I dont really feel like running out and buying yet another book for my library. lol

I did the first day of Chest/Tri and I thought i was gonna pass out when i was done...what a feeling. I love when i fell like I had an awesome workout and I'm so drained I can barely stand.

Update. going on 2 weeks in on my tweaked HIT workout. I am really enjoying it. I'm out of the gym faster, and with a better pump. I still feel like I am getting a great workout. I feel like I am already growing from it. I'll keep posted in the coming weeks.

I absolutely love this workout. My strength gains are awesome and everything is thickening out impressively. Well worth the effort.

Lol, sorry honey...I think there's a place for every theory out there, at least the ones forged by common sense. IMO, NO routine will work if you stay on it forever. You have to constantly change up and keep your body guessing what you're going to hit it with next. Whether it be changing rep ranges, tempo or excercises, change is always good.
