chronic leg problems

im wondering if i should go see a specialist or something. i have chronic left leg hamstring and calf muscle pulls. whenever i go play baseball, or football, basically any sport where you run and stop very quickly, i have chronically pulled the same muscles over and over for the last 2 1/2 years. im only 24 and i can play basketball for hours on end with no problems but baseball always manages to kill the leg. i dont know if its a problem because alot of scar tissue has built up or what. and i dont neglect my legs in my workouts either. im always doing squats, leg presses and curls as well as lunges but somehow never fails, play baseball, hurt my calf and hamstring. and if anyone has ever pulled a hammy, you know it is a very slow healing muscle. just looking for some deeper insight as to why this is happening, and if surgery might be looming.
