Im 5'6 153lbs around 8-9% bodyfat. I have just started the anpb diet on monday. I am looking to get into the 5-6% bodyfat range and get better definition in the lower abdomen. I also have started taking yohimburn es and thermorexin. I box 4 nights a week for 1hour sometimes longer. It consists of 3 minutes on (working out..hitting the heavy bag, hand pads, jump roping) then1 minute of rest. After boxing I go to the gym and lift for 45 minutes to an hour. I just started using the 5x5 training regimen as my strength has gone down over the past few months from rapid weight loss. I know you recommend your training regimen in your ckd manual, but would this be ok?Then I run. 2 days a week 1-2miles hard. Then 1-2 days a week il sprint hills. 1 day a week il use the eliptical at a moderate pace for 30-45 minutes. Should I nix 1 of the days I run 1-2 miles and do another day of 60-65% max heart rate cardio on the eliptical? So my main question is should I up the calories at all because of how active I am? Im not really looking to lose much weight if any just fat. Maybe add 1/2 cup of oatmeal to preworkout shakes and in the morning for a little extra energy? Also when I ordered my whey from protein factory I got it flavored with strawberry and neosweet. Will this be a problem? Or is this diet not a good idea to use given my boxing? Would throwing in 50mgs a day of winstrol change anything or be a good idea?Thank you so much for any help Mr. X you are the man!!!!

thanks Mr. X take your time. 2 other ?'s popped into my head I knew I had forgotten something. Ihave at least 1 coffee a day and I use 2 splenda. Can i use a little cream or skim milk or should I have it black. I can handle it black, but its nice with a little cream or skim. Also where can you get keto stix?

this would be ok ONLY if you add extra carbs around the workout/training time - I would say about 50g dextrose/40g protein split into before and after workout Then I run. 2 days a week 1-2miles hard. Then 1-2 days a week il sprint hills. 1 day a week il use the eliptical at a moderate pace for 30-45 minutes. Should I nix 1 of the days I run 1-2 miles and do another day of 60-65% max heart rate cardio on the eliptical? Ya ive done the diet for a week taking slightly more than the 2tbsps a day 6 times a day and the weight definitely went down. I was 155 when i started on monday and weighed 148 friday. I am back up to 151.5 after refeed yesterday (definitely took more cals in then i should of). I felt pretty weak at boxing though. Oh well I definitely liked the diet. Next time I take a few weeks off from boxing or need to drop some weight quick ill definitely use it. Thanks for the help Mr. X. By the way the best part of the diet was the simplicity of it. If you have will power this diet is the way to go. So easy to follow. Ive seen the south beach diet book and the atkins diet book....Mr. X id buy a copy of the anpb diet book..We gonna see 1 anytime soon?

The diet I follow might be of interest to you...5 days a week,I eat steak and sunflower seeds..I buy new york strip in bulk and barbecue daily.2 days a week I eat hella carbs,and anything else I want...It takes a while for your body to get used to burning fat instead of carbs,but once you've adjusted you'll have more energy than you can imagine..In fact,when you eat the carbs on the weekend you'll be surprised at how tired they make you...But do it anyway...It'll fill your muscles with glycogen for the week,it'll keep your T4 -T3 conversion going as well as leptin expression..Plus food tastes REALLY good when you only eat it occasionally...I also use protein(Protein Factory)but NOT whey,as it converts to glucose and causes an insulin response,keeping you out of ketosis,and you'll therefore feel shitty..I use micellar casein -whole organic egg-aussie cassinate...It's like $10 a lb...you could just use the aussie ($5.99)..I also put hemp seed oil in there for EFA's...In addition I take a fiber sup(Psyllium Seed Husks)Don't worry about cholestrol,you'll be burning it for fuel..Eating lots of red meat makes you very strong and aggressive...Mr.X doesn't think most people can handle this diet,mentally,and he's right...but you seem pretty determined, to be training the way you do,and I feel this diet is custom-made for those with a "warrior"mentality...I feel great and I love it...just don't let yourself get hungry,and make sure you eat fat,but not carbs and realize the first few days will be rough..you'll be rewarded with a strong,lean,muscular body that feels great and is a lot of fun to live in...

The diet SYL is talking about is the anabolic diet – by Dr. Mauro Di Pasquale, Dr. Di Pasquale recommended this diet for people that were geared towards the results from anabolics without actually having to use them. The problem with this diet – in your case – is that ANY form of a Ketogenic diet does NOT support long periods of high-intensity and burst exercises, which in your case are crucial. The basic science behind the Ketogenic -> Energy phase does not allow for quick long-term energy bursts. Thus, in your situation it would be a good idea to stick w/ a higher card diet if you put in more workload. Mr.X |
