Smile heart rate and calories

iim doing a ckd. and i was wondering if theres a way to figure out how much cal one burns at a certain heart rate? weighing a certain body weight ? my reason for asking is that i realized i may be burning more calories during my cardio sessions and dont wanna create too big a deficit so i dont start catabolizing my muscle..i use a stair stepper or just plain stairs as opposed to the treadmill and my heart rate is usually around 90% up.

90%........GOD DAMN...

Most people do low intensity 60%-70%......35 to 45mins....AM empty stomach.

yea i know. im pretty much used to it. the thing is i hate treadmill it gets boring. . it iritate the hell out of me.

I suggest you stay low-intensity in terms of cardio when on a CKD b/c ketosis will allow the steady burning of fat throughout the longer period of time. The FFA->Ketone conversion will be happening as you're doing your aerobic training as long as you're under 70%MHR, if above (70 being a high number already) you'll have gluconeogenisis occur which will cause the metabolization of AAs (amino acids) = loss of proteins = negative nitrogen balance = loss of muscle mass.
