Skimming the fat from ANPB jar???

Hey guys, can we skimm the fat from a ANPB jar.........the ones i get at Trader Joe's have been sitting on the shelf for a week or two, so the oil is usually at the top and peanuts at the bottom.......
Would it help to reduce the fat content a little by emptying a bit of the fat or is the fat needed for the ANPB diet to work correctly????

and does the pb/whey ratio have to be followed striclty or can i up the whey without increasing the pb?

well, it would reduce the fat content, however the peanut butter will have an extremely dry and salty flavor, it will be like hard mud, kinda like when you get to the bottom of a jar of natty you havent mixed up all the way

I wouldnt recomend doing this, you need the fat, Im not sure I would increase the whey a whole lot either, you dont want too much protien and not enough fat, otherwise it doesnt work like its supposed to, also after umpteen shakes, you will not want anymore protien shakes, and chewing the peanut butter will be more satisfying

If you stir it up,and put it in the fridge,it won't separate.If you change Mr.X's ratios,you won't be doing his diet.You'll be making up your own...What are you,some kind of diet guru?...

yup just as LB said, stick to the ratios and go ahead and stir the fat into the ANPB
