Well I have like 9 threads open right now, so I decided to put everything into one post! =)
STATS: Age:19 Height:6'0" Weight:174Lbs. Est.BF:15%-16% DIET PLAN: Modified TKD 200+g Protein, 110-120g Fat, Less Than 50g Carbs SUPPS: MM/MV Trex Glucorell-R CLA Whey Protein WORKOUT: 45mins AM Cardio-6 days a week Monday-Wednesday-Friday, Weights: 2 groups each day DAY BY DAY OVERVIEW: Wake-up-MM/MV AM Cardio-Trex Meal 1-Includes cereal (20 carbs) & Bacon & CLA Weights-2 groups, Monday-Wednesday-Friday Protein Shake Meal 2-Chicken Breast, Cheese, Broccoli Trex Meal 3-Protein Shake & 2 Servings of PB Meal 4-Steak or Chicken, Cheese & CLA Meal 5-Nuts of some sort That's just my thoughts as of right now, Im going to tweak it as I get into it. But with this set-up, what REALISTIC results should I expect in a 1 month to 2 month period? I think my problem is setting UNREALISTIC GOALS. Like dropping 90% BF in 2 weeks lol...Anyways What would your estimates be on this. I'm hoping to put on a few more LBS of LBM, a couple added lbs of muscle is always good when your not a BIG guy lol. I know it wont be much since im still tryin to but the BF%. That's what Im most concerned with. I also need to know where to throw the Glucorell-R in, this is my first time tryin that product. WRAP UP: 1) What sort of fat loss can I expect in a 1 to 2 month period on this plan? 2) When & how much Glucorell-R should be taken? 3) Am I the coolest guy ever or what? lol OVERALL GOALS: 1) 5%-7% BF Overall 2) 5%-7% BF before bulking. 3) Add Muscle Mass after this cycle. How long do you think before I can achieve 5%-7% BF. It's a loss of about 8%-10% BF at this time. On my current plan can this be done in a reasonable amount of time? I'd like to get the cutting part done as soon as possible so I can start adding muscle. I've never done an accual bulking cycle to gain muscle so Im not a very muscley guy lol. It appears as if you are doing a form of a ketogenic style diet, If I am correct I would make a few modifications.
In your first meal you are combining high-glycemic carbohydrates with bacon, which is not a good idea. Either drop the bacon, if you are doing a tkd style diet, or drop the cereal and add some eggs if you are doing a ketogenic/ckd style diet. You should add some flax oil to that post-workout shake as well. Try to keep the carbohydrates to less than 6 grams per meal. |

Yeah i droppped the bacon...it was just yummy lol
But I'm not running a strict Ketogenic diet...Im just keeping the carbs low and protein high, lots of chicken, porkchops, and some steak. My only carb meal is Cherios or special K in the morning...After that the rest of the day carbs are minimal. And Ive added another serving of Brocolli or green beans later in the day. And as far as eggs go I can only eat 1 or 2 egg whites, i HATE eggs. |

The suggestion that he should add flax oil to his post-workout shake was purely based on the assumption that he was on a ketogenic diet, where maintaining ketosis is desired. Having a protein shake lacking fat with/without carbohydrates will in all likelyhood knock you out of ketosis.
You are right, typically (standard carbohydrate based diet) you would try to keep as little fat as possible in your postworkout shake, as it slows down absorption and can lead to fat deposits. |
